Universal closure for HDPE drainage systems

This black HDPE end cap with a diameter of 50 mm is designed for butt welding in drainage systems made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). It is suitable for both construction and repair of installations. It is an essential element for sealing the pipe, preventing leaks and ensuring proper system operation.

The use of high-quality polyethylene (PE-80) guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The wall thickness of 3 mm ensures the strength of the structure, and the material is resistant to many chemical substances – about 95% of standard bases and acids. This is crucial in industrial or laboratory environments where the installation may be exposed to contact with aggressive chemicals. In addition, the polyethylene contains additives that protect against UV radiation, allowing the caps to be stored outdoors for a longer time without fear of deterioration of their properties.

This end cap is compatible with the Geberit HDPE system, but thanks to the standard diameter of 50 mm and the connection method – butt welding – it can also be used in other drainage systems made of HDPE. Butt welding is a solid connection method, providing a durable and tight connection. This makes the installation resistant to shocks, impacts and pressure. The possibility of laying pipes and fittings in concrete is another advantage of the Geberit HDPE system, and this end cap works perfectly in it.
