Emergency overflow for roof drainage systems

This component, designed for Geberit Pluvia systems, is a key element in ensuring reliable roof water drainage. It serves as a safeguard in case of overload of the main system, allowing safe drainage of excess water and preventing it from accumulating on the roof surface. This is particularly important during heavy rainfall, where a standard system may not be able to cope with the large amount of water.

Construction and application

The emergency overflow is designed to work with roof inlets with a capacity of 19 l/s. Made of durable polyethylene (PE), it provides resistance to weather conditions and long-term operation. Installation is done using a push-fit connection, which simplifies and speeds up the installation. The overflow height is 55mm, and the maximum flooding height at a flow rate of 19 l/s is 70mm.

The set includes two rotating closing elements and a lip seal made of EPDM – they ensure tightness and proper operation of the entire system. This element is dedicated to vacuum roof drainage, which means it works with systems using vacuum to effectively drain water.
