The Gebo Quick QA 1" male thread compression connector is a reliable solution for connecting steel, black steel and polyethylene (PE) pipes in water and compressed air installations. Using this connector eliminates the need for complex work such as welding or threading, which significantly speeds up and simplifies installation. The construction based on steel clamping rings and a sealing ring guarantees a durable and tight connection.

Construction and application

The QA connector has an external thread with a diameter of 1 inch (25 mm) and is made of durable ductile iron, both in the part connecting the pipe and in the clamping ring. This makes it resistant to corrosion and high pressure. The ability to use the connector with different types of pipes – steel (according to DIN EN 10255 and DIN EN 10220 standards), black steel and PE (PE 80, PE 100, PE-Xa) – makes it extremely versatile. The cut clamping ring allows installation even on pipelines located at a right angle to each other.

Safety and compliance with standards

The Gebo Quick QA connector has a hygiene certificate HK/W/0890/01/2014, which confirms its safety in contact with water intended for human consumption. It also meets the requirements of the technical approval AT-15-8495/2016. It can be used in installations with a working temperature of up to 80°C for heating water (in the case of steel pipes) and up to 25°C for drinking water. The working pressure is 10 bar for water and compressed air. The use of high-quality materials ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation of the installation.
