Universal clamping connectors for steel and PE pipes

The Gebo Quick QA 2" male thread clamping connector is a reliable solution for connecting steel, black steel and PE pipes. The construction based on ductile iron and galvanized steel ensures durability and corrosion resistance, and the steel clamping ring mechanism with a rubber sealing ring guarantees a tight connection without the need for welding or threading. It is a quick and economical way to repair installations or build new sections.

Construction and application

The QA 2" connector with an external thread is made of high-quality ductile iron (EN-GJMB-350-10) both in the body and the clamping nut. The clamping rings and the pressure ring are made of galvanized steel, and the sealing ring of NBR rubber – which ensures excellent tightness. The connector is compatible with steel pipes (according to DIN EN 10255), black steel (according to DIN EN 10220 series 1, 2 and 3) and PE (PE 80, PE 100, PE-Xa). The possibility of use in water installations intended for human consumption is confirmed by the hygienic certificate of the State Sanitary Inspectorate (HK/W/0814/01/2009).
