The Grundfos MAGNA3 40-100 F pump is an advanced device designed for circulating water in heating and cooling systems, both in residential and commercial buildings. It is characterized by high energy efficiency thanks to the integrated, intelligent controller, which automatically adjusts the pump's performance to the current needs of the installation. This solution translates into real energy savings and reduced operating costs. The pump's design minimizes noise and vibration, ensuring comfortable use.

The MAGNA3 pump offers a wide range of applications, from underfloor heating systems to air conditioning installations with heat exchangers. Thanks to the ability to adjust the rotational speed, the pump can be optimally adapted to the specifics of each installation. Built-in communication interfaces (PROFIBUS, RS-485, EtherNet/IP, Modbus RTU, BACnet MS/TP, LON/LONWorks) allow integration with building management systems (BMS), enabling remote monitoring and control of the pump's operation. Additionally, 0-10 V / 2-10 V and 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA interface signals allow for precise control of the pump's performance based on external sensors and controllers.

Construction and functionality

The MAGNA3 pump has been designed with easy installation and maintenance in mind. Made of high-quality cast iron (GG 25), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The connection length of 220 mm facilitates the replacement of older pump models. The integrated controller allows you to choose from various operating modes, such as constant pressure, constant temperature or constant flow (available from production code 1838). The FLOW LIMIT function prevents exceeding the maximum nominal flow, eliminating the need for additional throttling valves. The pump has round flanged connections (EN 1092-2) with a pressure class of PN 16 and electrical terminals for connecting the power supply. Insulation class F ensures safe and reliable operation. The energy efficiency index (EEI) of 0.18 confirms the high energy efficiency of the MAGNA3 pump.
