Construction and application

MAGNA3 is a canned motor pump, which means there is no risk of the impeller being blocked by sediment. It is designed for circulating water in central heating systems, air conditioning, and domestic hot water systems. Thanks to its ability to dynamically adjust performance, it is ideal for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones. Made of high-quality cast iron (GG 25), it provides durability and corrosion resistance. Flanged connections (EN 1092-2) facilitate installation and integration with existing infrastructure.

Functionality and communication

The MAGNA3 pump offers a wide range of control and communication functions, allowing precise adaptation to the specifics of the installation. It supports protocols such as PROFIBUS, RS-485, EtherNet/IP, Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP and LON/LONWorks, allowing easy integration with building automation systems (BMS). Additionally, it has a built-in Bluetooth interface and 0-10 V / 2-10 V and 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA interface signals for remote monitoring and control. The AutoAdapt function automatically adjusts the pump's operating parameters to changing conditions in the installation, and the constant flow mode (available from production code 1838) ensures maintaining constant performance regardless of the head. The built-in speed controller allows smooth pump operation adjustment.
