Design and application

The MAGNA3 pump is designed for easy installation and maintenance. Made of high-quality cast iron (GG 25), it provides durability and corrosion resistance. It is intended for circulating water in closed heating and cooling installations, as well as in air conditioning systems with heat exchangers, chilled ceilings or chilled surfaces. It can be used in both single-pipe and two-pipe installations, as well as in systems with high pressure losses. It is available with flanged connections (EN 1092-2) on both the inlet and outlet sides.

Functionality and communication

The MAGNA3 pump offers a wide range of adjustment and control options. It has a built-in controller that allows for stepless speed control, which allows for precise adjustment of performance to the current system needs. It is equipped with 0-10 V / 2-10 V and 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA interface signals, which enables integration with external building management systems (BMS). It supports communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, BACnet MS/TP and LON/LONWorks, as well as RS-485 and EtherNet/IP. Additionally, it has a potential-free switching contact and supports the PROFIBUS protocol. Wireless communication (Bluetooth) allows for remote control using the Grundfos GO application. The energy efficiency index (EEI) is 0.17, which indicates the high energy efficiency of the device.
