This multistage submersible pump SQ 5-70 from Grundfos is a reliable solution for drawing water from drilled and cased wells. Its compact design (74 mm diameter) allows installation even in openings with a minimum diameter of 76 mm, making it ideal for both new and modernized installations. The pump is designed for continuous and intermittent operation, offering flexibility in various applications.

Performance and construction

The SQ 5-70 is characterized by a motor power of 1.85 kW and a capacity of up to 6.5 m³/h. Made of high-quality stainless steel (grade 304), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. A built-in check valve prevents water backflow, which facilitates pump restart and protects the motor from hydraulic damage. Thanks to the use of floating impellers, the pump is more resistant to the presence of sand in the water – it tolerates up to 50 g/m³. Single-phase 230V power supply and a 1.5 m long cable facilitate connection and operation. The IP68 protection class guarantees complete sealing and the possibility of immersing the pump in water.
