Uninterrupted power switching with full control

The device enables safe, automatic switching between two power sources – the public grid and a generator – even under load. It operates in three positions: I – 0 – II, guaranteeing physical separation of both networks and eliminating the risk of back‑feeding. A locking mechanism prevents accidental switching, and the built‑in motor drive provides fast and precise operation without the need for additional equipment.

Installation and safety in practice

Designed for mounting on a mounting plate inside distribution boards, it requires no special openings or front mounting. It is a permanently fixed device – not suitable for intermediate mounting or DIN‑rail installation. Protection class IP00 means there is no protection against touch or foreign objects – the installation must be performed inside a closed enclosure, which is standard for such devices in switchgear. As a main disconnect, safety and maintenance switch, it meets all requirements of IEC EN 60947-3. A padlock provision allows safe access during service.

What does it give the installer and the user?

• No need to add a drive – it is already built in, so there is no need to purchase and install a separate motor.

• No risk of short circuit between sources – the physical “0” position provides complete isolation.

• Manual operation possible – even if the drive fails, the switch can be operated manually.

• Only one component needed – the switch and control circuit are housed in a single enclosure, reducing the number of connection points and potential failures.

• Switching capacity 658 kW at 400 V – sufficient for large loads such as pumps, fans, compressors or other motor‑driven equipment.

• Short‑circuit withstand 100 kA – meets the most demanding industrial and critical building network conditions.

All of this operates at 380–415 V and a continuous current of 1000 A – without additional triggers or options. There are no “magical” functions. It is a solid, simple mechanism with a motor that does exactly what it should: switch power safely and reliably.
