This single-pole overcurrent switch from Hager's MCS series is a compact and efficient solution for protecting electrical circuits. Designed to operate at 230-400V AC, it offers a rated current of 6A and a C characteristic, making it an ideal choice for protecting against overloads and short circuits in circuits with a load characteristic with elements with high inrush current – such as motors or transformers. Quick installation and easy operation thanks to QuickConnect

The MCS106 switch features an innovative QuickConnect connection system. This solution allows for quick connection of wires without the need for a screwdriver – simply snap the wire into the appropriate terminal. This saves time during installation and servicing, and also increases safety thanks to the constant spring pressure on the wire. In addition, the rear BiConnect terminal with screw fixing provides additional protection against incorrect connection. The QuickConnect system is not only speed, but also convenience and reliability of connections.

Safety and compliance with standards

The switch meets the requirements of IEC 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which guarantees its high quality and safety of use. Energy limitation class 3 and surge category III provide effective protection against the effects of overvoltage and current surges. Protection class IP20 protects against accidental contact. Made of high-quality materials, the switch is resistant to environmental conditions and ensures long-lasting, trouble-free operation in the temperature range from -25°C to 70°C. Compact dimensions (83.4 x 17.5 x 70 mm) and a width of 1 module allow for easy integration with various switchboards.
