Stationary air disconnect switch 400A 3P – solution for high‑demand installations

This device is not an ordinary disconnect – it is a stationary main and safety disconnect, designed for networks up to 690 V AC where reliability and easy integration with distribution boards are critical. It is permanently mounted, with the possibility of bus‑bar connection – ideal for professional installers who need a clean, safe and compact solution without the need for additional intermediary components.

It has 3 poles and is equipped with a locking mechanism, guaranteeing a physical lock in the “off” position – essential during service or maintenance work. It does not function as an emergency stop, but serves as a maintenance and safety disconnect in accordance with IEC 60947‑3, meaning it can be used as an isolation point in the system – without the risk of accidental re‑closing.

Its short‑circuit current rating is 55 kA for 1 s – this value is confirmed for both 220–240 V and 380–415 V AC. This means the device can withstand even extreme fault currents typical of large industrial or commercial installations. A continuous current of 400 A allows safe control of loads up to 180 kW at 400 V.

A benefit is the front‑mount construction – installation can be done centrally, and the IP2X protection class on the front side provides basic protection against contact with live parts.
