Stationary circuit breaker with sentinel trip unit 42kA 1000A 3P HW1N310FB
Stationary circuit breaker with Sentinel trigger – 1000 A, 3P, 42 kA
This device is intended for permanent installation in low‑voltage switchgear where high breaking capacity and reliability in industrial conditions are required. It is designed as a protective element in circuits with large rated currents – it works perfectly in power supplies for machines, transformers or distribution systems above 500 kW.
Main connections are designed for busbar mounting, eliminating the need for cables and connectors – installation is faster and connections are more stable. The built‑in trip indicator allows quick diagnosis of the device’s status without opening the enclosure – useful both for routine checks and during faults.
The Sentinel trigger functions as an independent protection module – it does not contain built‑in earth‑fault or over‑voltage protection, but its role is to detect overloads and phase‑to‑phase short circuits. The rated breaking capacity of 42 kA at 400 V means the device can safely open the circuit even under the highest short‑circuit currents typical for large industrial installations.
Four auxiliary switching contacts enable integration with automation systems – e.g., status signalling (on/off), interlock blocking or emergency signal to SCADA. There are no make‑before‑break contacts or additional closing contacts – the configuration is simple and focused on control function.
IP2X protection class provides basic protection against accidental contact with live parts, but does not protect against dust or water – the device must be mounted in enclosures with an appropriate IP rating. It cannot be mounted on a DIN rail; it is a stationary unit, fixed directly to the switchgear structure.
An optional motor drive allows remote operation (on/off) – if such drive is installed by the integrator, the device becomes part of an automatic energy management system. Absence of a built‑in drive means it operates manually by button by default.
Rated voltage from 440 to 690 V makes it suitable for both 400 V networks and higher industrial installations (e.g., 500–660 V). It is one of the few devices of this class offering such a wide voltage range while maintaining high short‑circuit capacity.
