Stationary air circuit breaker with Sentinel trip unit

This is a stationary air circuit breaker with a rated current of 1250 A and a breaking capacity of 42 kA at 400 V, intended for fixed installation in low‑voltage switchgear. It has four poles and busbar connections — allowing direct connection to busbars without the need for additional cables.

The device is not mounted on a DIN rail and cannot be withdrawn — it is permanently fixed, providing stability in installations with high mechanical requirements. Protection class IP2X guarantees protection against contact with live parts, but does not protect against dust or moisture.

The built‑in trip indicator enables quick visual diagnosis of the device’s condition — without opening the enclosure. Four auxiliary switching contacts (NO) can be used for status signalling (closed/open) in control or monitoring circuits.

Connection of the main contacts is performed exclusively via busbar connections — cable or screw terminals are not possible. Insulation voltage is 1000 V, and impulse voltage withstand is 12 kV, meeting industrial installation requirements.

The Sentinel trip unit is not permanently built into the device — it is an optional front‑mounted component supplied separately. The device itself contains no protection — its protective functions (overload, short‑circuit, earth‑fault) are provided solely by the Sentinel trip unit, which must be installed separately. There is no built‑in earth‑fault protection or any other protective function — all settings are made through the trip unit.

Optionally, a motor drive for remote control can be added — but it is not factory‑installed. There is also no built‑in motor drive or closing coil.

Closing response time is 45 ms — ensuring rapid power restoration after a trip. Terminals are orientable — they can be mounted horizontally or vertically, facilitating adaptation to existing busbar infrastructure.

All parameters comply with the PN-EN 60947-2 standard.
