This device is a four‑pole air circuit breaker with a rated current of 1600 A, designed for use in industrial and commercial installations where high breaking capacity and the ability to replace the unit quickly without disconnecting cables are required. Its withdrawable construction allows safe and fast servicing – simply pull the entire unit out of the enclosure to access the contacts and internal components, without risk of live parts.

The built‑in Sentinel trip unit provides precise and selective protection against overload and short‑circuit. There is no integrated earth‑fault protection – if protection against insulation failure to earth is needed, an external module must be added. An optional motor drive enables remote operation – ideal for automation systems or hard‑to‑reach installations.

At 400 V AC the breaker can withstand short‑circuit currents up to 42 kA, meaning it can be used in networks with high short‑circuit power, e.g., on distribution transformers or in power stations. Insulation voltage is 1000 V, and impulse withstand voltage is 12 kV, ensuring safety even during over‑voltages.

IP2X protection rating provides basic protection against contact with live parts – it does not protect against dust or water, but meets requirements for indoor installations in controlled environments. Main circuit connections are not mounted directly to the enclosure – they require a separate enclosure part (cassette), which simplifies mounting and replacement.

The breaker has four auxiliary switching contacts – they can be used for status indication (on/off) or to control other devices via an automation system. A trip indicator allows quick visual diagnosis of the device’s state without opening the enclosure.

Mounting is not on a DIN rail – the device is intended for installation in switchgear cabinets with appropriate brackets or mounting frames.
