Stationary circuit breaker with sentinel trip unit – 630 A, 3P, 42 kA

This device is a fixed, air‑type circuit breaker intended for protecting industrial and commercial installations with high short‑circuit currents. It is designed as a central element in low‑voltage switchgear where reliability and the ability to handle large loads without replacing the whole system are required.

It has three poles and is equipped with a sentinel trip unit – meaning it responds to overloads and short circuits according to a time‑current characteristic, without additional protection. The rated making capacity at 400 V is 42 kA – sufficient for most installations in industrial construction, production halls or data centres.

The main connections are designed for busbar mounting – there is no need for DIN‑rail installation or auxiliary connection cables. This simplifies mounting and reduces the number of failure points. The device is permanently fixed, providing stability even under high electrodynamic forces during faults.

It has four auxiliary switching contacts – allowing status signalling (on/off) or integration with automation systems. There are no diverter contacts or status LEDs, but it does feature a trip indicator that physically shows that the breaker has been operated manually or by the trip unit.

IP2X protection class provides basic protection against accidental contact with live parts – it is not intended for installation in humid or dirty environments. It does not have an integrated motor drive, but can be optionally equipped – enabling remote control or process automation.

It does not include earth‑fault protection or an undervoltage trip unit. The package contains no protective device – it is only an execution element.

All this makes the breaker act as the “heart” of the switchgear: it has no superfluous functions, but includes everything needed for safe and reliable control of high currents.
