Stationary circuit breaker with Sentinel trip unit – 800 A, 3P, 42 kA

This device is a fixed, non‑withdrawable version of an air circuit breaker integrated with a Sentinel trip unit – intended for installations where high breaking capacity is required in a limited mounting space. It is not mounted on a DIN rail and does not include a motor drive as standard – however, an optional motor drive can be fitted. Installation is direct and permanent with bus‑bar connections, making it ideal for panels with a high circuit density.

Rated continuous current 800 A and short‑circuit rating 42 kA at 400 V enable this breaker to handle large loads and fault currents without risk of damage. It operates in a voltage range of 440 V to 690 V, opening possibilities for use in industrial and commercial systems with higher voltages.

The breaker has three poles and is equipped with four auxiliary switching contacts, facilitating easy integration with control systems, status signalling, or interlocking devices. It has no make‑before‑break contacts nor additional ground‑fault protection – it functions purely as a breaker with a protection mechanism based on the Sentinel trip unit.

An integrated trip indicator shows the device status without opening the enclosure – useful during inspections or fault conditions. The IP2X protection class provides basic protection against accidental contact with live parts but does not protect against dust or water, so it is not suitable for humid or dirty environments.

Compliant with PN-EN 60947-2:2018-01/A1:2020-06 and the RoHS directive – it meets European requirements for low‑voltage equipment. It does not contain built‑in over‑voltage or under‑voltage protection; its function is solely overload and short‑circuit protection.

Installation requires a suitable distribution cabinet construction – it cannot be mounted on a rail. Connections are bus‑bar type, so appropriate busbars or bus‑bars cables must be planned. No additional protective devices are supplied; all must be selected individually.

An optional motor drive allows remote operation – useful in automation systems or where physical access to the device is limited.
