This device is a four‑pole air circuit breaker, designed for fixed installation in systems with high rated currents – up to 1000 A. Its making capacity at 400 V is 55 kA, meaning it can safely interrupt even very large fault currents typical for large industrial facilities or main switchgear.
The main connections are designed for busbar connections – it does not require mounting on a DIN rail, and its construction is fixed, meaning it is not withdrawable. This solution is typical for installations where high stability and durability are required, and access to the device is limited.
It includes four auxiliary switching contacts – they allow signalling the breaker status (on/off) in control or automation systems. There are no make‑before‑break contacts nor closing auxiliary contacts. Additionally, it is equipped with a clear and reliable trip indicator, facilitating diagnosis of the device condition without opening the enclosure.
The rated voltage covers the range from 440 to 690 V – suitable for both 400 V systems and 500–690 V systems found in larger industrial installations. The IP2X protection class provides basic protection against accidental contact with live parts, but does not protect against dust or water – therefore installation requires an appropriate enclosure or cabinet.
It does not have an integrated motor drive, but it can be equipped with one as an option – allowing automatic control from a SCADA or industrial automation system. It also lacks integrated earth‑fault protection or under‑voltage trip – these functions must be provided by external devices.
The device is intended for applications where key requirements are: reliability at high currents, ability to integrate with control systems via auxiliary contacts, and structural stability. It is not suitable for frequent manual on/off operation – its purpose is to protect the circuit from faults, not to provide operational switching.
