The mounting is fixed – it cannot be mounted on a DIN rail or withdrawn for service. It features a trip indicator – a physical indication of the device’s state (ON/OFF), facilitating quick diagnosis without opening the enclosure. The control button operates mechanically – there is no electronic control of the trip; all protective logic is based on the sentinel trip unit (which is part of the device), but it is not offered as a configurable module.

No additional protective devices are supplied with it – the breaker itself does not have overload or time‑current protection. Its purpose is safe making and breaking of the circuit under fault conditions; all other functions (e.g., time‑delayed tripping on overload) must be provided by an external unit or control system.

In practice: the installer mounts it directly on the distribution busbars, connects the auxiliary contacts to automation (e.g., status signalling, interlock lock), and the end user relies on its reliability each time large machines are started – without the risk of power loss due to breaker failure.
