Stationary circuit breaker with sentinel trip unit – 55 kA, 630 A, 3P

This is a stationary air circuit breaker with a rated current of 630 A and a short‑circuit breaking capacity of 55 kA at 400 V. It is designed for permanent installation in low‑voltage switchgear, where reliable overload and short‑circuit protection is required in industrial installations.

It has three poles and busbar connections — facilitating integration with switchgear busbars without the need for cables or screw terminals. It is not intended for mounting on a DIN rail or a TH rail. The IP2X protection rating provides basic protection against accidental contact with live parts, but does not protect against dust or moisture.

It is equipped with four auxiliary changeover contacts — allowing status signalling (on/off) to control systems, PLCs or monitoring panels. It includes a trip indicator — a physical element that clearly shows that the device has been opened manually or by the trip unit.

The sentinel trip unit is integrated in the device — meaning its functions (overload, short‑circuit) are performed internally and do not require external modules. It does not have a built‑in undervoltage trip or earth‑fault protection — so UZ protection must be provided by external devices.

A motor drive is not built‑in, but can be optionally accommodated — enabling remote control or process automation. Operation is possible in the voltage range from 440 to 690 V AC.
