This device is a stationary air circuit breaker with a rated current of 1000 A, designed for installation in central distribution points – primarily as the main protective device for circuits in industrial or commercial installations. Its making capacity during a short‑circuit is 66 kA at 400 V, meaning it can safely interrupt even the most extreme faults in high‑power networks.

The advanced Sentinel trigger, integrated directly into the housing, provides precise overload and short‑circuit protection. It does not have built‑in ground‑fault protection – if such protection is required, it must be added externally. The trigger is equipped with an LCD display and adjustable settings, allowing the installer to configure parameters without opening the enclosure.

The device has three poles and bus‑bar connections – there is no possibility to connect wires directly to terminals. The mounting is fixed, with no pull‑out or DIN‑rail mounting option. Consequently, it requires a suitably designed switchgear compartment where it will be permanently mounted and accessible only to technical personnel.

It includes four auxiliary switching contacts – these can be used for status indication (on/off) or to control other system elements, e.g., alarms or SCADA interfaces. There are no diverter contacts or status indicators apart from a clear trip indicator visible from the front, allowing quick assessment of whether the breaker has been manually opened.

The IP2X protection rating indicates no protection against dust or moisture – the device is intended solely for installation in closed, controlled environments. Insulation voltage is 1000 V, and the impulse voltage withstand is 12 kV, meeting the requirements for low‑voltage networks in industrial conditions.

Closing response time is 45 ms – typical for this type of equipment and ensures rapid power restoration after a trip. Mechanical endurance is 30 000 cycles, electrical endurance 8 000 cycles, guaranteeing long‑term reliability even with frequent manual operations.

An optional motor drive can be added – enabling remote control or automatic re‑closing after a fault. However, there is no built‑in DC supply or automatic reset.

This is not a “plug‑and‑play” device. Professional installation by authorized personnel is required – its construction does not allow easy on‑site replacement or servicing. The rated‑current setting (rating plug) can be changed only by using appropriate modules – there is no possibility to set the current via an electronic interface.

It is a solution for systems requiring high short‑circuit capacity and precise control – where safety and durability are paramount.
