Construction and installation

The device is designed for fixed mounting – it cannot be mounted on a DIN rail. Main circuit connections are made with busbar technology, facilitating quick and safe connection in medium‑ and high‑power switchgear. It does not have an integrated motor drive, but it can be optionally equipped – allowing remote control or automation in BMS systems. The control button is simple to operate, and the off indicator provides immediate visual information on the device status.

Protection and making capacity

A short‑circuit making capacity of 66 kA at 400 V means the circuit breaker can safely interrupt even extreme fault currents – ideal for installations in tertiary, industrial, or public‑infrastructure facilities where the risk of faults is high. The rated voltage of 440–690 V allows its use in higher‑voltage three‑phase systems, e.g., facilities supplied from a 500 V or 690 V network. IP2X protection rating provides basic protection against contact with live parts – sufficient for installations in enclosed cabinets.

Functionality and compatibility

The breaker does not have an integrated over‑voltage release or earth‑fault protection – it must be used together with an external Sentinel LSI or Sentinel Energy release (not supplied with the unit). Four auxiliary switching contacts allow integration with signaling, automation, or interlocking systems – e.g., to indicate trip status or interlock lockout. There is also no integrated metering unit – if energy consumption data is required, a separate communication module must be added. All this makes it a basic component – not “smart”, but reliable and flexible.
