Power switch I-0-II 4P 800A HI460 is a mechanical device designed for manual switching between two power sources in distribution boards. It is not an emergency disconnect switch—it lacks an arc-quenching chamber, so switching must be performed with the installation completely de-energized. Before moving the lever, the load must be disconnected using circuit breakers.

The long rotary handle enables front-panel operation without requiring side access. The locking mechanism secures the lever in the "0" position, ensuring safety during maintenance work—power cannot be accidentally restored.

The device has 4 poles and simultaneously switches three phases and the neutral conductor. Cable terminals are designed for rigid conductors with a cross-section of 4×185 mm², matching typical dimensions in large distribution boards. It does not include auxiliary contacts—signaling, interlocking, or remote control functions are not supported.

The IP00 protection rating indicates no protection against contact or dust—the device must be installed exclusively in enclosed, protected distribution boards. It cannot be mounted on open walls or in locations exposed to moisture or dust. Front or intermediate mounting is not possible; this is a permanently mounted device intended solely for installation within distribution boards.

It operates at voltages from 380 to 690 V AC with a continuous current of 800 A. The rated power for AC-23 at 400 V is 360 kW, corresponding to loads such as heaters and lighting. For AC-3 (motors) at 400 V, it is 450 kW, supporting industrial motors. Short-circuit withstand capability: 64 kA (Icw) and 50 kA (Iq with gG fuses). Power losses at rated current amount to 166.8 W.

It has no built-in motor drive or undervoltage release—it is a purely mechanical solution, ensuring simplicity and reliability. Compliant with EN 60947-3, it may be used in overhead and ground-level distribution boards, but only where access is restricted to qualified personnel.
