This residual current circuit breaker combines the functions of an overcurrent circuit breaker (protects against overload and short circuit) and a residual current circuit breaker (protects against electric shock). Characteristic C means that the circuit breaker reacts more slowly to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when connecting devices with electric motors or other loads with high starting current. The short-circuit capacity of 6kA guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit. The residual current value of 30mA ensures a quick response and protection of user lives.

The ADA956D circuit breaker has been designed with the convenience of installers and users in mind. It has a width of 2 modules, which allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. Thanks to two indicators - contact position and residual current release - fault diagnostics are simple and intuitive. In addition, a lock prevents accidental switching on of the circuit breaker after it has tripped, increasing work safety. The ability to remove/replace the device without unscrewing neighboring devices (for the 10 kA version) further facilitates servicing the installation.
