Construction and materials – durability and resistance

Made of high-quality spheroidal cast iron (GJS-spheroidal cast iron, series 5310), the collar provides strength and corrosion resistance. This material, compliant with EN-GJS-450-10 standard, guarantees long-term operation even in harsh environmental conditions. The gasket made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber ensures a tight connection and prevents leaks. Additionally, the collar has a GSK certificate confirming anti-corrosion protection.

Application and compatibility

The HAKU collar is designed for use with PE and PVC pipes with an outer diameter of 110 mm and a nominal diameter of DN 110. It has a cylindrical BSPP-G (ISO 228-1) internal gas thread, which ensures compatibility with a wide range of fittings and valves. Thanks to its special design, the collar is suitable for pipes of various pressure classes up to PN 16 (according to EN 12201 and EN ISO 1452-2 standards). The ability to drill pipes under pressure significantly speeds up installation work and minimizes inconvenience for users. The collar is also compatible with Hawle drilling machines (cat. no. 5800, 5805).
