Comfortable underfloor heating with HD-mat heating mat
The HD-mat 150 W/m² heating mat is an effective solution for comfortable underfloor heating in bathrooms, kitchens, and other rooms finished with ceramic tiles, stoneware, or stone. Its versatility will be appreciated by both professionals during installation and end-users who will enjoy pleasant warmth underfoot. The mat with an area of 8 m² and a width of 50 cm is ideal for heating medium and large rooms.
Construction and technical advantages
The key to the reliability and long life of the HD-mat is its advanced construction. A very thin heating cable with a diameter of only 3 mm minimizes the need to raise the screed or adhesive level, which is particularly important during the modernization of existing installations. The cable has a protective screen made of copper mesh, which ensures safe use and protects against electromagnetic interference. The flexible braid of the cable (strand) makes the mat easily adapt to the shape of the room and does not create stress points. Double insulation with Teflon guarantees temperature resistance up to 200°C, which prevents overheating and extends the life of the system.
- Quick installation: The mat is ready for installation – just unfold and glue to the substrate.
- Low thickness: Minimizes the impact on floor height, ideal for renovations.
- Safety: Copper screen and Teflon insulation ensure safe operation.
- Flexibility: Cable braid makes it easy to lay the mat in rooms with irregular shapes.
- Durability: High-quality materials guarantee long-term use.
Application and installation
The HD-mat heating mat is designed for installation directly under ceramic tiles, stoneware or stone. Before installation, make sure that the substrate is level, clean and primed. Remember to use a thermostat with a floor temperature sensor (not included) and electrical protection – an RCD and a type B overcurrent device – to ensure the safe operation of the system. It is also recommended to use thermal insulation under the heating mat to increase heating efficiency and reduce heat loss. Installation should be carried out in accordance with the installation design and applicable building standards by a qualified electrician.
