The HD-mat 150 W/m² heating mat is a modern solution for comfortable underfloor heating, ideal for both new and renovated rooms. Designed for installation under ceramic tiles, stoneware and stone, it provides even heat distribution and pleasant comfort. Its small thickness allows for flexible installation, minimizing the need to raise the floor level.

Construction and application

The key to the reliability and durability of the HD-mat is its advanced construction. The thin heating cable (only 3 mm thick) makes installation easier and reduces the need for thick self-leveling screed or adhesive layers. The cable has a protective copper mesh screen, which increases its safety and resistance to interference. The multi-strand braid (wire rope) provides flexibility and prevents the formation of stress points, which translates into a longer lifespan of the system. Durable Teflon (FEP) insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – up to 200°C – minimizing the risk of overheating and ensuring safe operation.

The HD-mat is self-adhesive, which significantly simplifies the installation process. It can be used as primary or additional heating, providing thermal comfort in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways or other rooms finished with tiles.

Technical data and operating parameters

The HD-mat 150 W/m² mat with an area of 9 m² (dimensions 0.5 m x 18 m) has been designed for efficient and safe underfloor heating. The power cord is 2.5 m long, and the mat operates at 230 V. The IPX7 protection class provides resistance to moisture, which is particularly important in bathrooms or kitchens. The resistance of the 1350W mat is approximately 39.2 Ω (with a tolerance of ±10%). It is recommended to use a type B overcurrent switch and a residual current device to ensure the full safety of the electrical installation. The minimum installation temperature is 5°C and the maximum operating temperature is 80°C.
