Construction and properties

The TITANEX® cable is characterized by a solid construction: multi-wire copper conductors class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) are insulated with a special cross-linked elastomer, and the whole is covered with a coating of the same material. The color coding of the conductors is in accordance with HD 308 S2, and the coating is black. This makes the cable resistant to UV radiation, weathering, and oil. It also has flame-retardant properties (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2) and is RoHS compliant.

The minimum bending radius is 6-8 x cable diameter for flexible installations and 3x or 4x diameter for fixed installations (depending on the cable diameter).
