Robust power cable for demanding applications

The TOPFLEX-611-PUR cable is an advanced solution for power supply in harsh industrial conditions. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for applications in cable chains, robotics, CNC machine tools, and automation. The cable's construction is designed for long-lasting and reliable operation even in environments exposed to oils, greases, coolants and other aggressive substances.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, ensuring its durability and safety. It has multi-wire copper conductors of class 6, which guarantees high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The core insulation is made of PP, and the entire cable is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket in gray (RAL 7001). A shielding braid provides additional protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

• Mechanical strength: Special construction with a fleece between the cores improves sliding properties and increases resistance to abrasion.
• Chemical resistance: Materials used in production are resistant to mineral oils, greases, coolants, hydraulic fluids, alkalis and solvents.
• Flexibility: Class 6 multi-wire conductors provide high flexibility, allowing for free routing of the cable in cable chains and other dynamic applications.
• Safety: Halogen-free jacket minimizes the emission of toxic gases in case of fire.
• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C (flexible).

Application and parameters

The TOPFLEX-611-PUR cable with a cross-section of 6 mm² and a rated voltage of 1000 V is intended for applications requiring high reliability and resistance to harsh working conditions. It is ideal for:

• Electric drives, including numerically controlled drives (DNC) and servo motors.
• Cable chains (guides).
• Industrial robotics and automation.
• CNC machine tools.
• Outdoor applications – thanks to resistance to UV radiation, oxygen and ozone.

The cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (G) for increased safety. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 14.8 mm, which allows for easy routing through limited spaces. The minimum bending radius is approx. 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible routing and 4 x cable diameter for fixed routing. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km and the test voltage is 4000 V.
