This black, rubber cable NSHTÖU 4G10 mm² is a reliable solution for power supply and control in harsh conditions. Designed for use in cable reels, it performs perfectly wherever high resistance to mechanical loads and frequent bending is required. Ideal for use in construction, mining industry, cranes, conveyors and hoists.
Construction and properties
The NSHTÖU cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. Made of high-quality materials, it meets the DIN VDE 0250 part 814 standard. Its key element is the polychloroprene-rubber (neoprene) outer jacket, which guarantees exceptional resistance to:
- Low temperatures – flexibility even at -40°C (stationary) and -35°C (dynamic).
- Atmospheric factors – UV radiation, ozone, humidity.
- Chemical substances – oils, acids, greases, gasoline and solvents.
- Mechanical loads – high resistance to twisting and repeated bending.
Copper conductors are insulated with GI1 rubber, and their identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293 (colored up to 5 conductors, black with white numbering from 6 conductors). The cable has a protective conductor and a reinforced textile braid to prevent twisting.
Application and parameters
The NSHTÖU 4G10 mm² cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 600/1000 V. Its cross-section of 10 mm² provides adequate current carrying capacity for various applications. It can be used in both outdoor installations and in dry, wet and humid rooms. Thanks to its high flexibility, it is ideal for use in cable reels – the permissible winding speed is a maximum of 120 m/min. The reaction to fire class is Eca (EN 13501-6), which provides additional safety. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1 regarding behavior during fire and DIN VDE 0473-811-404 regarding oil resistance.
