Control and power cable for wide application

This white H05VV-F control and power cable with a cross-section of 2x1.5 mm² is a universal solution for both professional installers and end users. The use of high-quality PVC insulation ensures reliability and durability in various conditions. The cable is ideal for indoor installations where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-wire, flexible copper conductor (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), which facilitates installation and ensures good conductivity. The insulation of the conductors is made of PVC TI2, and the outer jacket of PVC TM2 – both materials meet the standards DIN VDE 0207-363 and DIN EN 50363. Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – up to 5 conductors in color, and above 6 conductors black with white numbering. A version with a green-yellow protective conductor is also available.

The cable is characterized by high flexibility in the temperature range from -5°C to +70°C during installation and from -40°C to +70°C after installation (without vibration). It is resistant to radiation up to 80x106 cJ/kg (80 Mrad) and does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The materials used in production are self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, as confirmed by the DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 test.

Applications and compliance with standards

The H05VV-F cable is perfect for indoor installations where moderate mechanical stress occurs. It can be used in household appliances (e.g. dishwashers, light sources), office equipment, radios or centrifuges – also in damp rooms. It is suitable for installation inside furniture, walls and empty spaces in buildings.

It meets the requirements of standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227-5. The rated voltage U is 500V, and the permissible operating voltage in AC 1- and 3-phase installations is U0/U 318/550 V (DC U0/U 413/825 V). The cable has passed voltage tests (2000V) and has an insulation resistance of min. 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is approximately 7.5 x cable diameter.
