Control and power cable – reliability and versatility of applications

This flexible control cable, designated as H05VV-F 3G1,5, is a universal solution for internal installations. Made of high-quality PVC, it provides safe and efficient power transmission in a wide range of applications. The cable is characterized by a construction with three cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², making it ideal for powering household appliances, office equipment and control systems.

The cable is designed for easy installation and long-term operation. Its flexible construction makes it easy to route in tight spaces, and the durable PVC insulation protects against mechanical damage and external factors. Core identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (color-coded) facilitates correct connection and minimizes the risk of errors during installation.

Construction and properties

The H05VV-F cable consists of multi-wire copper cores (class 5), surrounded by PVC TI2 insulation. The cores are twisted in parallel, which ensures optimal twist pitch and cable flexibility. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 additionally protects the cable against damage and weather conditions. The cable is available in white or black.

This cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 300/500V, which allows it to be used in AC and DC installations. Thanks to a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible) – it ensures reliable operation in various environmental conditions. Resistance to radiation up to 80x106 cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad) allows it to be used in places exposed to UV radiation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.2 mm, which facilitates routing the cables in existing installations. The presence of a green-yellow protective core (from 3 cores) further increases safety.

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11/ DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227-5, which guarantees its high quality and safety. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
