Construction and properties
The cable is designed for durability and ease of use. Its construction is based on a multi-wire, flexible copper core (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), which ensures high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The core insulation is made of PVC TI2, and the outer coating of PVC TM2 – both materials guarantee good protection against external factors and mechanical damage. The cores are identified by colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, which facilitates correct connection and minimizes the risk of errors during installation. Additionally, the cable has a green-yellow protective conductor (from 3 cores), increasing the level of safety.
Application and compliance with standards
The H05VV-F cable is perfect for internal installations where flexibility and resistance to moderate mechanical stress are required. It can be used in household appliances (e.g., dishwashers, lighting), office equipment, radios or centrifuges. It is also suitable for installation inside furniture and in walls and empty spaces in buildings. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11/ DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227-5, which confirms its high quality and safety. The permissible operating temperature of the cable is from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible). The rated voltage U is 500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The cable is also resistant to radiation up to 80x106 cJ/kg (80 Mrad).
