Flexible halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety

This 7-core JZ-600 HMH cable is a flexible solution for use in machines, production lines, air conditioning installations and many more. The cable is designed for demanding working conditions, offering high resistance to fire, oils and mechanical factors. Its construction minimizes the risk of generating toxic gases in the event of a fire, making it an ideal choice for industrial facilities and public buildings.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The copper cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² are stranded and flexible (class 5), which facilitates assembly and ensures resistance to material fatigue during frequent bending. The core insulation is made of halogen-free TI6 mixture, and the outer jacket of TM7 mixture – both materials meet stringent fire safety standards. The cores are black with white numbering, which facilitates identification during installation. Additionally, the cable is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length.

Applications and compliance with standards

The JZ-600 HMH cable is widely used as a measuring and control cable in various industries: machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning equipment and steel plants. It can be used in both stationary and flexible installations – however, it is not intended for continuous movements or mechanical stress. The cable is suitable for laying in dry, wet and humid environments and on surface mounting. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525 and DIN EN 50525 standards, and also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The outer diameter of the cable is 8.7 mm.
