Halogen-free flexible cable for industrial and control applications

This 1kV OZ-600 HMH flexible cable is a reliable solution for power transmission in demanding conditions. Designed for use in machinery, production lines, air conditioning systems and metallurgy, it provides safety and durability in environments exposed to mechanical and chemical loads. The cable is characterized by high fire resistance, oil resistance and UV resistance, making it an ideal choice for both stationary and flexible installations.

Construction and properties

The OZ-600 HMH cable has a construction that ensures high flexibility and reliability. Made of multi-wire copper conductors class 5, insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture, it guarantees safe operation even in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. The conductors are twisted in parallel and numbered for easy identification. The outer jacket made of halogen-free TM7 mixture provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering.

• Halogen-free: compliant with DIN VDE 0482-754-1, DIN EN 60754-1 and IEC 60754-1 standards – minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire.
• Fire resistance: meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24 and IEC 60332-3-24 standards – provides a high level of fire safety.
• Flexibility: thanks to the multi-wire conductor construction (class 5), the cable is easy to install and lay, even in tight spaces.
• Chemical resistance: the outer jacket made of TM7 mixture provides resistance to oils, greases and other chemicals.
• Wide temperature range: permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +80°C (for fixed laying) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible).
• Numbered conductors: facilitate the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing.

Technical parameters and application

This cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 1000 V. Its outer diameter is 8.2 mm, and the cross-section of a single conductor is 1 mm². The minimum bending radius during fixed laying is 7.5 x cable diameter, and in the case of flexible laying – 15 x cable diameter. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11 standards. It can be used in both dry and humid environments and laid on the surface.
