This flexible, shielded F-CY-JZ 10G1 mm² gray control and power cable with black, numbered cores according to DIN VDE 0293-334 standard, is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end users. Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a careful construction ensuring high quality and reliability. It is made of stranded copper cores insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), which provides flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The cores are twisted in parallel and marked with white numbers for easy identification. In addition, the cable has an insulating foil reducing its outer diameter and a dense copper braid providing effective shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid should be firmly connected to the terminals (e.g., cable glands) for optimal signal protection. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC TM2 coating, resistant to oils and chemicals.
Application and parameters
The F-CY-JZ 10G1 mm² cable is perfect for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to interference. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C (for fixed installation) and -10°C to +80°C (flexible), allowing it to be used in various environmental conditions. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the maximum test voltage between cores is 4000 V, which guarantees safe use. The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a fire reaction class Eca. The nominal core cross-section is 1 mm², and its class is class 5 – flexible stranded. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 11.3 mm.
