Control and power cable shielded – reliability and flexibility in every application
This shielded F-CY-OZ control and power cable is an ideal solution for data and power transmission in demanding environments. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation and long-lasting performance. The cable is characterized by its flexibility, which makes installation easier even in hard-to-reach places.
Construction and properties
The cable has a single core with a cross-section of 1 mm², made of flexible stranded copper wire (class 5). The core insulation is made of PVC, and the cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334 – which greatly facilitates identification during installation and servicing. A copper braid screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. An insulating foil reduces the outer diameter of the cable, which is particularly important in applications where space is limited. The outer PVC jacket provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage.
The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (during stationary operation) and from -10°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the permissible working voltage for a single core is 300/500 V. The reaction to fire class is Eca, which provides additional safety.
Applications and benefits
This cable is widely used in:
- Control and regulation technology: ideal for connections in industrial automation systems.
- Machine industry: will work in applications requiring flexible electrical connections.
- Electronics: excellent as a signal cable in electronic devices.
- Building installations: can be used as a control cable in residential and commercial buildings.
Thanks to the shielding, the cable minimizes the risk of interference, which is crucial for the correct operation of devices sensitive to electromagnetic interference. The use of insulating foil allows for a reduction in the outer diameter of the cable, which makes it easier to route in tight spaces. Numbered cores facilitate identification and connection of wires, reducing installation time and minimizing the risk of errors. In addition, the cable is resistant to oils and chemicals, which increases its durability and reliability in harsh working conditions.
