This screened control and power cable F-CY-OZ 2x1.5 mm² is an optimal solution for data transmission and power supply in various applications. Construction and application
The cable is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards and intended for medium mechanical load in flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. It works perfectly in indoor installations – dry, humid and wet (excluding open spaces). It is a versatile cable, used as a control cable in control and regulation technology, mechanical engineering, and as a signal cable in electronics.
- Reduced diameter: Thanks to the use of insulating foil, the cable is more compact, making it easier to route in tight spaces.
- Screening: Dense copper braiding minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), ensuring stable signal and pulse transmission. To optimize EMC, it is recommended to ensure a wide-ranging, bilateral contact of the braiding with the terminals (e.g. cable glands).
- Numbered cores: Black cores with white numbers facilitate identification and connection of wires in accordance with DIN VDE 0293.
- Flexibility: The construction with a multi-wire core of class 5 ensures high cable flexibility, making installation easier even in hard-to-reach places.
- Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (during stationary operation) and from -10°C to +80°C (during installation).
Parameters and properties
The cable has a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 300/500 V. It is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both as the outer sheath material and core insulation. The outer diameter is approximately 7.1 mm. The fire reaction class is Eca, which provides additional safety. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km, and the test voltage between cores is 4000 V. The cable is resistant to oils and chemicals (detailed information can be found in the "Technical information" table). The materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, or substances that interfere with painting.
