This shielded F-CY-OZ 3x2.5 mm² control and power cable is a versatile solution for data and power transmission in various applications. Made from high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation even in harsh conditions. The cable is characterized by its flexibility, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces. Black, numbered cores according to DIN VDE 0293-334 ensure easy identification and correct connection.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for demanding installations. Its construction includes:

• Copper cores: Multi-strand, flexible, class 5, providing good conductivity and resistance to material fatigue.
• Core insulation: Made of high-quality PVC (polyvinyl chloride), guarantees effective electrical insulation and protection against mechanical damage.
• Screen: Braid of copper wires provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in control and data transmission systems. Dense braid minimizes the risk of signal interference.
• Insulating foil: The use of foil reduces the outer diameter of the cable, making it easier to route in limited space.
• Outer jacket: Made of special PVC TM2, resistant to abrasion, oils and chemicals, provides durable protection against environmental influences. Grey color (RAL 7001) facilitates identification.

The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 9.2 mm. The insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km and the core/core capacitance is approx. 150 nF/km for a cross-section of 2.5 mm².
