This red 3G1 mm² cable is a solution for installations requiring the highest level of fire safety. The cable is designed to power devices in facilities with increased requirements, such as alarm systems, emergency lighting or smoke extraction systems. Its construction ensures functionality even in the event of a fire, allowing the continued operation of key safety systems.

The cable meets stringent standards for fire resistance and emission of harmful substances. In the event of a fire, it does not spread flames, produces minimal smoke, and the gases released during combustion are non-toxic and non-corrosive – which is crucial for protecting people and property. It has a National Declaration of Conformity and a Certificate of Approval from the Fire Protection Research Institute - PIB in Józefów.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, which translates to its durability and reliability. Copper conductors, available in solid or stranded versions, are insulated with special cross-linked silicone rubber. A polyester tape (in shielded versions) and a static screen made of laminated aluminum foil (in shielded versions) provide additional protection against electromagnetic interference. The outer sheath is made of halogen-free plastic in red, which makes it easier to identify the cable.

It is worth paying attention to a few key parameters:

• Rated voltage: 300/500 V – standard voltage used in most building electrical installations.
• Operating temperature: from -25°C to +85°C – a wide temperature range allows the cable to be used in various environmental conditions.
• Fire resistance: FE180 (insulation durability) and PH90/E30-E90 (function maintenance) – a guarantee of maintaining the continuity of the installation during a fire for a specified time.
• Minimum bending radius: 10 x cable diameter (for shielded versions) or 6 x cable diameter (for unshielded versions) – ensures easy installation and cable routing in tight spaces.
• Insulation resistance: minimum 500 MΩ·km – a high insulation resistance value ensures safe use and minimizes the risk of short circuits.

The cable is intended for permanent installation indoors, but it should not be used in rooms protected by fixed water fire extinguishing systems. In such cases, it is recommended to use cables of the type TECHNOFLAME HDGs(żo)-W FE180 PH90/E30-E90 300/500 V.
