Thanks to the use of special cross-linked silicone rubber as insulation for the cores, the cable does not spread flames, and the emitted smoke is very small in volume and does not contain harmful gases. It has CNBOP-PIB-KOT certificates confirming its compliance with strict safety standards. In the event of a fire, the cable maintains circuit continuity for at least 30-90 minutes (depending on the standard – E30-E90 / PH90), which is crucial for the operation of rescue and evacuation systems.

Specification and application for professionals

The HDGs FE180 3G2,5 mm² cable is a power cable designed to operate at 300/500V. It is made of copper cores (available in solid or stranded versions), which guarantees good electrical conductivity. The minimum operating temperature is -25°C, and the maximum is +85°C (during continuous operation). The test voltage is 2kV AC. Thanks to the shielding (in screened versions), the cable also provides protection against electromagnetic interference. It should be remembered that the cable should not be used in rooms protected by fixed water extinguishing systems – in such cases, it is recommended to use the version marked as HDGs(żo)-W FE180. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter for screened versions and 6x for unshielded versions.
