Flexible cable 1kV JZ-600-Y-CY 3G6 AWG10 UL-CSA, shielded, black 12390
Flexible shielded power cable
JZ-600-Y-CY cable is a high-quality power cable designed for applications requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. Made of copper with PVC insulation, it provides safe and reliable power transmission in various conditions. A copper braided screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in control and measurement systems.
This cable complies with DIN VDE 0276 part 627, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and UL Std.758 Style 21179 standards, guaranteeing its high quality and safety. Designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +80°C (flexible), making it an ideal solution for both fixed and mobile installations.
Construction and properties
The cable construction includes a stranded copper core, TI2 PVC insulation and a TM2 PVC outer protective sheath. The cores are identified by numbers, and in the 3-core version there is also a yellow-green protective core. A copper braid provides effective shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The cable is characterized by high resistance to oils, chemicals and UV radiation (in the case of a black outer sheath). The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and lacquer-inhibiting substance free.
Additionally, the cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, meeting DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2, UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards. The minimum bending radius is 5x cable diameter for stationary installations and 10x cable diameter for flexible applications.
Applications and parameters
JZ-600-Y-CY cable is widely used in measurement, monitoring and control systems for machines and equipment in various industries – from air conditioning to foundries and steelworks. It will also work in cable carriers and production lines. Thanks to its flexibility, it can be used in places exposed to medium mechanical loads and free movements without tensile stress.
The cable is distinguished by a core cross-section of 6 mm², a rated voltage of 1000 V and an outer diameter of approximately 17 mm. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and the screen is a copper braid. The cable retains its properties in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C for stationary installation and from -5°C to +80°C during flexible operation. It has three cores and is resistant to radiation up to 80x10⁶ cJ/kg.
