Flexible shielded cable for industrial and control applications

This multi-core flexible cable JZ-600-Y-CY, with a cross-section of 4 x 0.5 mm², is designed for transmitting power and signals in demanding industrial conditions. It is characterized by high resistance to mechanical and chemical factors, and the copper screen provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. This cable is ideal for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable solution in control and power applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of stranded copper conductors, insulated with PVC, twisted together and surrounded by a copper braid screen. The whole is covered with a durable outer PVC jacket in gray (RAL 7001) or black (RAL 9005). This construction guarantees flexibility, durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The conductors are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification during installation. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (in versions with 3 or more conductors), ensuring safe use.

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276 part 627, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and UL Std.758 Style 21179. It is resistant to UV radiation (in the black jacket version), oils and many chemicals. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or paint-inhibiting substances. The cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, as confirmed by tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2, UL VW-1 and CSA FT1.

Applications and operating parameters

JZ-600-Y-CY cable is used in measurement systems, monitoring and control of machines and devices in various industries - from production lines to air conditioning and metallurgy. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms (with the black outer jacket) and under medium mechanical loads with free range of motion without tensile stress or forced movements. It is not suitable for laying in the ground or under water. Thanks to the copper screen, it minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC).
