This multi-core flexible cable JZ-600-Y-CY is a reliable solution for power transmission in demanding conditions. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Stranded copper conductors, made in flexibility class 5, are insulated with special PVC TI2, providing them with flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The cores are marked with numbers for easy identification during installation. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (in versions with 3 or more cores), increasing safety. The copper braid shielding minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on transmitted signals – crucial in precise control systems. The outer sheath made of PVC TM2 provides resistance to oils, chemicals and UV radiation (in the case of a black sheath).

JZ-600-Y-CY cable finds application in various industrial applications: measurement systems, monitoring, machine control, cable carriers and in air conditioning. It will work in foundries, steelworks and other facilities exposed to harsh environmental conditions. The possibility of use in dry, damp and wet rooms (especially with a black outer sheath) expands the scope of its applications. The cable is intended for flexible laying with medium mechanical loads without tensile stress or forced movements.

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² corresponding to AWG14. The rated voltage is 600/1000 V (VDE) and 1000 V (UL/CSA). The operating temperature range is -5°C to +80°C for flexible operation and -40°C to +80°C for stationary operation. The cable contains 5 cores and has an outer diameter of approximately 14.9 mm. The insulation is made of PVC, and the screen is a copper braid. It exhibits radiation resistance up to 80x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad). The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter for flexible operation and 5x cable diameter for stationary operation.
