Shielded flexible cable – reliability and protection in every application

This multi-core JZ-600-Y-CY cable is a solid solution for power supply and control in demanding conditions. The cable is designed for flexibility and durability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. Thanks to the copper braid shielding, it provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing a stable signal transmission.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides high mechanical and chemical resistance. Copper strands, made of twisted wire, are insulated with special PVC TI2, which ensures their flexibility and long-term operation. The outer sheath made of PVC TM2 protects the cable against external damage, and its gray color (RAL 7001) facilitates identification. It is worth noting that the cable is also available with a black outer sheath (RAL 9005).

• Cores: 5 current-carrying cores plus a protective conductor (yellow-green), which increases safety.
• Cross-section: 4 mm², optimal for a wide range of applications.
• Shielding: Copper braid minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in control and measurement systems.
• Flexibility: Class 5 core ensures high cable flexibility, making installation easier in tight spaces.
• Resistance: Highly resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation (in the version with a black sheath).
• Temperature range: Operation at temperatures from -5°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary).

JZ-600-Y-CY cable finds application in various industrial and commercial installations: measurement systems, machine control, cable carriers, production lines, air conditioning, and in foundries and steelworks. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms – remembering the limitations regarding laying in the ground or under water.
