This double-shielded 1kV flexible cable, designated TF-EMV-UV-2XSLCH-J 4G1.50, is an advanced solution designed to power motors connected to frequency inverters. Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. Made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), surrounded by XLPE insulation, it provides flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. Two screens – an aluminum tape and a tinned copper braid – effectively suppress electromagnetic interference, protecting sensitive equipment from damage and ensuring stable control system operation. The outer jacket made of polyolefin compound provides resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage.
The cable has an outer diameter of 10.1 mm and a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm². It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +90°C during installation. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 and EN 55011 standards regarding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Additionally, it is resistant to radiation up to 80x10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad).
