This double-shielded TF-EMV-UV-2XSLCH-J cable with a cross-section of 4G25 is a specialized solution designed to power motors connected to frequency inverters. Construction and properties
The cable is distinguished by its advanced construction, which guarantees its reliability and durability. It consists of stranded copper conductors surrounded by XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation. The conductors are twisted concentrically and protected by two screens – an aluminum tape and a tinned copper braid, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The whole is covered with a durable outer sheath of polyolefin, providing resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. It is worth noting the halogen-free nature of the cable, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
- Shielding: Double shielding (aluminum tape + copper braid) provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important when working with frequency inverters.
- XLPE insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation allows operation at higher temperatures (up to +90°C), increasing the permissible load current compared to traditional cables with PE insulation.
- Halogen-free: The materials used in production do not contain halogens, which means a lower risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.
- Flexibility: The construction with stranded conductors provides high cable flexibility, making installation and routing in tight spaces easier.

Remember to connect the screen correctly on both sides of the cable for optimal protection against electromagnetic interference – it is recommended to use cable glands providing extensive contact of the copper braid with the clamps.
