Frequency inverter cable – reliability and safety

This double-shielded flexible cable, with a cross-section of 6 mm², is designed for use in demanding industrial conditions, especially in connections between motors and frequency inverters. Its advanced construction provides not only effective power transmission but also high resistance to electromagnetic interference and mechanical damage. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction that guarantees long-term and reliable operation. It uses high-quality copper conductors, twisted in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The conductor insulation is made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to high temperatures – up to +90°C. Two screens – aluminum and copper – effectively suppress electromagnetic interference, minimizing the risk of damage to sensitive equipment. The outer jacket made of polyolefin compound provides protection against external factors and mechanical damage.
