This grey, halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 10G1,5 cable with an outer diameter of approximately 11.3 mm is a versatile solution for use in machine and equipment construction, air conditioning systems, ship structures, and renewable energy sources. The cable is characterized by its high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed with safety and durability in mind. It consists of 10 stranded copper conductors insulated with a special halogen-free polymer. The conductors are twisted in parallel and surrounded by an outer protective layer of the same material. The grey color (RAL 7001) facilitates identification. The conductors are marked with numbers for easy identification during installation. Appropriately selected materials ensure resistance to oils, greases, UV radiation, and hydrolysis. The cable is also resistant to ozone and abrasion, guaranteeing a long service life even in harsh working conditions.

Application and benefits

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable is intended for fixed laying as well as for flexible connections, provided that free movement is maintained without excessive mechanical stress. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939 / UL-Std. 758. Thanks to its properties, it ensures safe and reliable operation of electrical installations in various industrial and domestic environments. The low level of smoke emission during a fire and the absence of halogens in the composition minimize the risk of toxic gas formation, increasing user safety. The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2). A version with a yellow-green protective conductor (marked with "G") is also available.
