This grey, halogen-free flexible cable MEGAFLEX 500 is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who value safety and durability. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a careful construction using high-quality materials. Copper conductors, made in class 5 (multi-strand flexible), provide good flexibility and resistance to bending. The core insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which increases safety in the event of a fire – reducing the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black cores are clearly marked with white numbers (according to DIN VDE 0293), and the protective conductor (yellow-green) is present from 3 cores. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of halogen-free polymer in grey color (RAL 7001). The cable is metered for convenient dispensing during installation.

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² and an outer diameter of approximately 9.9 mm is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V (UL/CSA 600 V). It has 12 working cores and one protective conductor. The minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter for fixed laying and 10x cable diameter for flexible operation. This cable is perfect for both fixed and mobile installations (with occasional movements without tensile stress). It finds application in machine and equipment construction, air conditioning systems, ship structures, and renewable energy sources. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
