This halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 flexible cable is a robust solution for power supply and control in demanding conditions. Construction and properties
The MEGAFLEX 500 cable is characterized by a construction that ensures high reliability. It is made of multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), which guarantees good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. The cores are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of halogen-free polymer in gray (RAL 7001).

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable is widely used in the construction of machines and equipment, air conditioning systems, ship structures and in renewable energy sources (e.g. wind turbines). It is also suitable for installation in residential and industrial buildings. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939 / UL-Std. 758, which guarantees its high quality and safety. It also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 11.7 mm, which facilitates its routing through pipes or cable ducts.
